My love for animals began at just two years old with my first dog, a Maltese x Shih Tzu named Harley. Over the next ten years, I learned the value of compassion and responsibility while caring not only for Harley, but also for rabbits, guinea pigs, birds, fish, and chickens. I also developed a strong passion for horses and eagerly took every opportunity I could to ride — as many young girls do.

In 2017, my family opened The Playful Pooch, a dog daycare located in Lonsdale. Not long after, we began fostering rescue dogs. During this time, my interest in photography grew as I started capturing images of the rescue dogs in our care. I got given my first camera in 2018 for my birthday, and from that moment, photography became an integral part of my life. Since then, my family and I have fostered hundreds of dogs and puppies, each one deepening my understanding of animal behaviour, patience, and trust.
